Here are a few tips on how to get your home ready for a successful real estate photographs or video. Preparing for the photo session is an essential part of the process. Some of these tips are easy to overlook so we have created this list for you.
Sweep and clean outdoor spaces
Clean all windows and doors
Clean and organize outdoor furniture
Removing dead plants, branches and mow the lawn
Store unnecessary clutter such as outdoor tools, trash bins, garden hoses, toys, bike, etc
If possible park vehicles away from the home, not in the driveway. Only park in the garage as a last resort
Clean, vacuum and wipe all surfaces
Clean all windows as this will affect the lighting
Stow away personal items such as photos, and personal documents
Store away clutter such as mail, remote controls, pens, toys
Turn off televisions, computers and other devices
Clean and declutter the fireplace
